TN. from Buckingham Co. VA. prior to 1800. They do have connections to HOOVER & to SAUNDERS families. 1797 Wilson Co. TN Report of jury on dower of Priscilla SPIVEY, wid of Joshua SPIVEY, decd, and since become wife of Duke W. DAVIS. Jury met at SPIVEY's home 7 Oct 1797, to allot her dower from the total of 410A. Her dower was 136 1/2 A. Boundaries of dower mention HIGH's line, DAVIS line, CLAYTON's line.
