Glad to know that you have made the connections. I cannot yet verify that I am a Bondurant, but all of the clues point in that direction. I believe that Jane Bondurant married my ggggrandfather Nathaniel Barnes. Jane's father was probably Richard Bondurant. We believe that Richard's father was another Richard b. 1740 whose father was John. I've collected Bondurant data for over 10 years trying to sort out the branches thereby eliminating all of the other possibilities. A very laborious process considering the number of descendants.
