I thought this item might be of interest because of Lovingston's proximity to Buckingham County. I recently bought a Bell System magazine ad (it's undated, but I'm guessing 1950s) showing telephone lineman William T. Wright, Jr. of Lovingston at work in the area. The ad notes Mr. Wright's involvement in his community, and that he's married to "a Lovingston girl". The ad includes a picture of Mr. Wright conferring with Mrs. Hattie Allen about her telephone service.
