    1. [VABUCKIN] Re: George Adcock missing wife
    2. Hi Ken, There were many, many, many Adcock's in Buckingham Co. Apparently, allot of them stayed in VA and did not move to KY. The Adcock's cross with my BRYANT line many times in the 1800's and all are from Buckingham. A couple of examples are....George Adcock, age 18, Farmer, married Sarah C. Beasley, age 18 on 12/26/1877. They were married by E.C. Trivillian. George's parents were George and Isabella Adcock. Sarah's parents were R. Morton Beasley and Malissa Beasley. Sarah's big sister, Ann Eliza Beasley (my great grandmother) married Henry Clay Bryant, Sr., (my great granddad). Also, Elmore Adcock, age 22, Farmer, married Cassandra Bryant, age 19, on 4/1/1872. They were married by Joseph A. Crowder. Elmore's parents were J. and Martha Adcock. Cassandra's parents were William and Eliza Bryant. I'm sorry I don't believe I have any information on the George Adcock (and his missing wife) that you are looking for, but, if they're from VA I'll be glad to look for th! em the next time I go to the Library of VA. I go about once a month. Give me the place and date if you want me to take a look for you. Have you seen any BRYANT folks in your research? Sandy [email protected]
