    2. Warren Walker
    3. J. A. Houseman W/50, W-Elvira, 40, Son Adolphus Age 1 living in Buckingham Co., VA 1880. Found my grandfather Samuel Glover Housman (sp) and Adolphus both living in Appomatox Co. but both are farmed out as apprentices. Adolphus in one part of county, GF in another part. GF born 1879 at same time as Adolphus.from 1900 census. My grandfather goes from there by 1904-05 to Bradenton, Manatee Co.,FL. Marries my grandmother, Sallie Walden and my Mother, Bessie, born 1908. Problem: No other Hous(e)mans in Buckingham Co. Va. 1900. None living in Appomatox Co. 1900 except my GFand unknown Adolphus. GF leaves in a hurry and goes 900 miles to FL?????? Very secretive family. Fable says he and his brother were orphaned and "sent" to FL. on train. Cannot locate any parents. Cannot find J.A. or Elvira in 1900 census. GF was well educated, could read and write, was a formal blacksmith and made a living as such. Drank a lot, fathered 9 children. Children never explained to me about him. Both his parents were born and raised in VA. A number of Glovers in Appomatox Co., but none have 1 year old male child by another name in 1880 census. Was Adolphus maybe his twin and he did not show on 1880 census by error, or what? Did Adolphus get killed mysteriously and Samuel left. What a screen play!! Any help would be appreciated. Samuel died in Manatee Co. Bradenton about 1961. Have his death certificate but no info. Does Buckingham Co. have any viable records for 1870-1900? Any help appreciated. Questions: Who was he and who were his parents. Was he running from a situation that he could not handle and Appomattox Co. and why Manatee Co., FL. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
