    3. Thanks for the correction, Ruby. I double checked my dates and I had sent the marriage date for Nancy Apperson and Samuel W. Harris by mistake....that is why we all need to double check all data that comes from other researchers....we can all make mistakes! Interesting that Samuel W. and Nancy Apperson Harris name a son Samuel Sterling Harris. Sterling seems to have been a very popular name in the Apperson family! My data base indicates that the Sterling G. Apperson who was witness would have been a brother to both Nancy and Rebecca. I have a little bit of new information from a last fall trip to Virginia.
