Have been asking these questions for awhile but hope to contact some new "blood" about this family name. Am descendant of John Hardyman(Hardiman) (Lt. Col.)of Charles City Co., Va in the late 1600's and early 1700's. Am updating a book that we published in 1900's about later generations of Hard-mans by what ever spelling and would like to contact anyone who has researched this family or knows about them for the periods of the 1700's to mid 1800's. There are some missing links that we need. Will be glad to share what we know or think we know.
