Susan, In May I spent a week in the Buckingham area. I stayed at the Budget Inn in Appomattox. It was the most reasonably priced around, clean and well located. The people who ran the place were very friendly and helpful. There is a great mom & pop restaurant in Appomattox on the same street as the Library. The food is wonderful and the prices can't be beat. It is easy to get around to the different countys. Be sure you go to Jones Library. It is a MUST. It is closed on Sunday and Monday. Enjoy, Mary Kanta <[email protected]>
