I've been trying to track 4 Taylor's found in the 1810 Albemarle Co. Census to find the names of their sons. I James Taylor, b. before 1765 John Taylor, b. before 1765 George Taylor, b. between 1765 and 1784 William Taylor, b. between 1765 and 1784 It is my hope that one of these four Taylor's will be the father of my (3) gr. grandfather, Thomas Taylor, b. 1781 and died 1861 in Nelson Co., VA. Thomas died in probate and no information given. Thomas was first located in 1810 Amherst Co. Census Then located 1820-1860 in Nelson Co. Census The 1810 Amherst Co. Census lists the following Taylor's as well (could they be the same as above since Amherst was created from Albemarle?) James (45+); William (45+); John (45+); John (2-45); George (26-45); also, Jeremiah (45+); Daniel (26-45); Frances (45+); Edward Sen (45+), and Moses (45+). If anyone has information on these Taylor's (even if they do not have a son Thomas, it would at least eliminate that family) I would be most appreciative. Carol
