Hello subscribers, Recently there was a message asking about Edmund TONEY. I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com, and just noticed that one of today's new databases is the Valentine Papers. I did a search for WOODSON (one of my surnames) and saw a TONEY show up in the results. So I just redid the search for TONEY, and see that there are several mentions of the TONEY family, including a couple of mentions of Edmund TONEY. The TONEY family shows up in the following sections of the Valentine papers: -- BACON family (Powhatan County) -- BALLARD family (Bedford County) -- MOSBY family (Cumberland County) -- PLEASANTS family (Cumberland County) -- PLEASANTS family (Powhatan County) -- RANDOLPH family (Powhatan County) -- WOODSON family (Powhatan County) -- WOODSON family (marriage bonds) I know that Cumberland County is close to Buckingham County, but I'm not sure about the other counties mentioned. -- Mary Taffet List Admin for VABUCKIN [email protected]
