    1. [VABUCKIN] Robertson,Ligon, Conner
    2. My wish would be to find out more about my Robertson descendants and where they are buried in Buckingham or surrounding counties. Hugh Robertson came to Virginia from Scotland around the time of the American Revolution. He married twice, Jemima then Susannah Ligon. (1787) Of the two unions there is about 15 children. Thomas Robertson, (1802) one of the sons of Susannah and Hugh married three times, Elizabeth Conner (an aunt of a famous Captain William Jackson Conner of Nelson county), Martha Spencer, and Mary Harvey. He had children with the first two wives. The oldest son of Elizabeth Conner and Thomas Robertson was Archer Thomas Robertson. (1826) Archer married Ann Seay(1850-1851)and had about 11 children.Archer lived between Buckingham and Nelson counties. One of the sons of Archer and Ann was Andrew Iverson (Ivy) Robertson(1861)who married Martha Jane Denton. Their youngest son was my grandfather, David Call Robertson(1899) who married Constance Curry Wheeler. Of all the Robertsons that were in the area there has got to be someone who knows where alot of them went. I have heard of Robertson county in Tennessee and wonder if any went there. Also a few in Texas. Any help would greatly be appreciated. If I found my ancestors resting places that would be a wonderful wish come true. I only know where Andrew Ivy Robertson, Martha Denton Robertson, and my grandparents are buried. Any help in this would greatly be appreicated.
