During research in Curdsville has anyone run across any mention of James M. Cabiness or Callie Clay? I know they lived for a time in the area before moving to Mt. Airey, NC, where they ran a hotel. Thanks in advance, gynger cook
Gynger Cook: Cabiness is a French Huguenot surname and you should take a look at the Huguenot books to find it and possibly (altho not the best way) work forward. There was a French settlement not far from Buckingham Co.
