I know that the Wilkerson family was from Buckingham County (or lived there at this time) and that it was usual for children to be given names that referred to their "family". Below is the will - please let me know if you know anything about this Wilkerson Murrell. Thanks Deed Book #4 pg.600 This deed, made the 7th day of May in the year 1884 between Judith Staton of the first part and John W.Johnson of the second part all of Buckingham County in the state of Virginia: Witness that in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars, the reciept whereof is hereby acknowdleged, the said Judith Staton do bargain, sell, grant and convey unto the said John W. Johnson with general Warranty, except reserving during her natural life a home for herself, thirty five acres of land on which the said Judith Staton resides adjoining the lands of Gamm Patterson, James F.
