His daughter Nancy America Davis married my gg grandfather, Hardin Parker (or Perkins) Staton. I do not know more about Beverly Davis except that he was a plantation overseer which was a position of some importance. Nancy America Davis was born in June of 1842. His wife was Mary Ann Trail and both, I believe, were from Buckingham County.
