Hello, I am looking for information on the 19th Virginia Infantry Unit in general, and Company D in particular, which was put together in Albemarle County. My great-great-grandfather, William Henry Duncan, who was from Buckingham County, served with this unit (which I believe was known as the Howardsville Grays). I would like to learn as much as I can about this unit so that maybe I can learn a little bit more about my gg-grandfather and his life during the Civil War. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
