    3. Virginia Vital Records - Virginia marraige records from The Va. Magazine of History & Biography, the William and Mary Quarterly, and Tyler's Quarterly - Indexed by Elizabeth Petty Bentley. Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. Baltimore 1984. I only have this first volume, the one containing the marriage records. My genealogical society sold some of their duplicates and I picked up quite a few books. I will be glad to look up anything, but these are usually early records, mostly 1700's, and a few 1800's. It has a good index. Sandra Due

    1. [VABUCKIN-L] Lutheran Churches in Buckingham County?
    2. Mary D. Taffet
    3. Does anyone on this list know if there were Lutheran Churches located in Buckingham County circa 1783? My ancestor who moved to Buckingham County in 1783 was a Lutheran whose family was very involved in the Lutheran Church affairs in Chester County, PA. We assume that Peter would have continued his affiliation with the Lutheran Church once in Buckingham County, but we have no idea what churches might have existed then. Does anyone know, or does anyone know of a good source for this kind of information? -- Thanks, Mary Taffet mdtaffet@syr.edu

    3. Dear Linda, Thanks. That is the will of Alexander Stinson's nephew. Alexander Stinson Sr. He died about 1792 in Buckingham County. There are many descendents of his named Alexander, so it gets confusing. I am particularly interested to learn the surnames of Alexander Sr.'s wife, and those of his son Cary and grandson Cary Jr.'s wives. Tom Stinson

    3. Hi, In the 1820 Buckingham Co. census there were three Taylors with a male child under 10yr. Allen Taylor pg779 with one, James Taylor pg757 with one and James Taylor pg 759 with four. The other thirteen Taylors don't qualify if your relative was 1yr. in 1820. In the 1840 census your relative would have been 21yr. There is one possibility. Wm.Taylor age 20-30yrs.having in his household 2males under 5yr,2females under 5yr, and 1 female 15-20yrs. hope this helps...Cathy -----Original Message----- From: Wade&Linnie Taylor <myatt@mindinfo.com> To: VABUCKIN-L@rootsweb.com <VABUCKIN-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, May 20, 1998 10:47 AM Subject: [VABUCKIN-L] William A.
