Where can I find information on the town of Cochran, VA? I can locate it on the Rand McNally Road Atlas, and pull it up on various map sites, but can find no info on the town itself - no yellow page listings on the internet, no hits on search engines for the town, etc. I'm researching the Cochran family (Jacob Cockerham, son Abraham Cockerham/Cochran) and have found reference in a family history that Abraham Cochran and Tamar Bruton (his wife) came from Brunswick County, VA. I can find no reference for them in the records available on-line, nor in the digests I've been able to look through at the library. But this town came up in my research.
