Benjamin Trotter was burried at Surana Corburn County, Indiania. He was the son of James E. and Racheal Trotter of North Carolina, James E. He died and was burried in North Carolina. His wife died and was burried in Rutman County, Indiania. James E. Trotter was the son of William Trotter of Scotland, who married Miss Caroline Hill of England. They both moved to Virginia,here in the United States. William Trotter was burried on the Banks of the James River, in North Carolina. His wife died and was burried in North Carolina. William and Caroline Trotter were survived by, three children, James, Phillip and Nancey Trotter. William Trotter was said to have desended from the Earl of Garvey in Scotland.
