Is there anyone who lives in Brunswick Co. on this list who might be able to do a look up at the courthouse for me. On the 24th of October 1785 Jeremiah Bentley of Amelia Co. Va. bought 5o acres in Brunswick Co. Va. from Abraham Bottom & wife Elizabeth. I would like to know when he sold the land and if his wife's name is mentioned in the deed when he sold the land. He likely would have sold it before 1811 when he bought land in Giles Co. Tennessee. He is my 5th great grandfather and I would so love to know the name of his wife. Thank you, Janet Bailey Bryant
