Surnames: Jones Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FAC.2ACE/430 Message Board Post: I recently went through a 1900 census of Campbell Co., Tn. in search of my great-grandfather. According to that census, my great-grandfather was born in Va. I've done some searching in Va. and have found 1 family with a Thomas Jones that matches the age of my great-grandfather in Brunswick Co., Va. 1850 census. If you have a connection to this particular set of Jones', I would love to have more info on them, especially the names of James and Martha's parents, siblings, death dates, place of burial, other children, etc... .........................................................................................06/01/1900 E # 34 Civil District 6 Sheet 2 Enumerator - ? Some verbal family history has it that Thomas Jones, my great-grandfather, was actually adopted. Fury being the real name, however I have yet to find any proof of that. ......................................................................................... If you have any info at all, I would be most thankful. I would really like to know if I am on the right track with this Thomas Jones of Va. .........................................................................................
