The Branch families, the Tatum Families, and the Mitchell, CLark and Hicks, Goodwin families are all inter-related back in the early 1800s, proving it is another matter. In the DAR library in Washington, there is a folder by Mabel Leonard Gibson about most of these names, I am going to see what these records show as soon as I can. I hope this will answer a lot of questions. I go to the Library of VA and have tried to dig around in Charles City, Prince George and Greensville and Brunswick Counties trying to find evidence.
