Hi, I'm new to the list and I am posting hoping someone out there knows SOMETHING about my Wilsons! I have been banging against this brick wall for a year now and it's really getting frustrating,LOL! Here's what I have: Thomas Wilson, Sr. born 1699 in Surry County, Virginia. He married Amy "Ann" Irvin(Urvin), daughter of Captain Nathaniel Irvin March,1727. I have one known son, Thomas Wilson, Jr. born about 1735 in Brunswick County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth McLin in 1758 in Brunswick County, Virginia. I have several children listed for Thomas,Jr. and Elizabeth. I have one known brother for Thomas, Sr.; Nathaniel born in Surry County in 1700. I have found copies of land grants for both brothers that show they owned land in Brunswick and Surry Counties. If anyone out there knows WHO their parents were, I will be eternally greatful. I have been told my Wilsons were Scotch-Irish and I would really like to be able to find some distant cousins when I journey to Ireland in September. Well, that's it!
