Pat, I found quite a few Rays and Wrays: Do any of these names sound familiar? Conway Ray married to Johnnie Massey (1935), Raymond Ray m to Annie Mays (1956), Mitchell Ray m Mary Ballard (1925). WRAYS: George L. Wray m Mary IC Johnson (1875), Alexander N. Wray m Ann Taylor (1872), James H. Wray m Clara Morton (1874), Martin C. Wray m Mary Wright (1870) and William Wray m Jane Dean (1866). BASS: Claiborne Bass m Lourine Dean Deckins, Harold Linwoor Bass m Ruby Maxine Wester, Alexander Bass, Jr. m Edna Graves. These are all the names I found. I do know some Wrays in Brunswick County.
