War Aide to Gen. Washington) raised his family by his second wife, Mary Fitzhugh Grymes at "Lucky Hit". Their daughter, Anne Randolph Meade, married Matthew Page and he built "Anneville" for her. Richard Kidder Meade may well have died and been buried there. I'm not sure of that part. I also am very interested in the Lucky Hit. One of the Randolphs, I believe, later, built another Lucky Hit in Avoyelles Parish, LA. We would like to know which one and develop details about the pertinent families. Our family of Kennedys owned the Lucky Hit in LA as well and we are hoping that a study of the Randolphs might help us solve some of our family mysteries. Thanks, Kathie Donahue
