I could sure use a Brunswick County Lookup... I'm trying to track down the Peter T. Doyle family. He lived in Greensville County for awhile, but he was born in Brunswick county. He was married to a Sally Delbridge at some point though I don't know when. I understand that he was married twice. He had children - Matthew, Bettie, Myra, Peter Jr., Claude, Roslyne... Matthew was the executor of his estate when he died... Some accounts say he was an indian, some accounts say he was caucasian. I'm not sure which is accurate. Any help would be appreciated...

The Washington Clary you speak of was the son of Herod Clary & Martha Ann Wesson. Washington married Elizabeth Gray, daughter of J. W. Gray & Ann -?. This Herod Clary, Washington's father, was the son of Benjamin Clary & Winifred Kelly. This Benjamin's father was named "Harwood" Clary. There have been some instances that might indicate that this "Harwood" may have actually been named Herod. I have quite a bit of info on the Clarys of Brunswick Co if you are interested.
