Three grandparents were descendants and one of them twice. He paid 50# on his marriage bond, I don't think he bought her. I think that is how it got started that he bought her. The marriage bond gives her name as Cohun if I read it right. I believe I have read that there is also a minister's personal record which says her name was Clothin, but I personally have never seen it.
