The Elizabeth Salmon marriage is a new one for me. There are two signatures on these estate papers for William Henry 1814 that I simply cannot make out and have wondered if they are important in my quest. These are the signatures of the four men who have reviewed and settled the accounts of Wm. Henry dec. by John Henry administrator. Two names are Jacob Statler and Elijah McClanahan. The other two appear to have last names beginning with the letter "L". Having searched the 1810 Census for Botetourt though, I've not located names that do match their first names. They are Griffin L____ and Growy L____. I will also post the first names of those surnames I noted last evening in this estate: Abraham Gish Thomas Clark Henry Webster Jas.
