Her parents were John Carper b. ca 1801 and Margaret Miller b. ca 1797. John and Margaret Miller Carper were married 20 Jan 1820 and lived in Botetourt, Roanoke and then Tazwell Counties in VA. They were married in Botetourt Co, and were still there when Sarah was born ca 1828. They were in Tazwell Co by 1842. John Carper was the son of Jacob Carper ca 1774-ca 1827 and Sarah Raymer 1775-1838. I don't know anything about the parents of Margaret Miller. Hope this is some help to you.
