[email protected] Mrs. Willie Housman Mrs. Willie Woodson Housman, 85, widow of Robert L. Housman, both Fincastle natives, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. T. Waid here. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Waid, Mrs. W. M. Peck, Fincastle, and Mrs. H. L. Scott, Roanoke. Six grandchildren, and two great - grandchildren also survive. Funeral was held Sunday at 3:00 in the Fincastle Baptist church, by the Rev. R. M. Brewer, Interment was in the Godwin Cemetery. [From the January 12th 1950 Fincastle Herald]
