I am researching my g grandfather Samuel B. Hamilton, b. VA ca. 1829-1830. It is possible he was born in what subsequently became West Virginia. I have no clue as to who his parents were or where he may have been born or lived. I do know he married Cynthia Harbison June 17, 1856, Henderson County, Illinois Any help anyone can give me in tracing Samuel B. Hamilton's will be very much appreciated. You may want to keep this in mind, expecially when searching for burial places. I just discovered this week that one of my ancestors from Montgomery Co. is buried not a half mile from my home.
