Its so good to find others researching Myers in the area. I have seen your William Myers in the 1810 Botetourt census but do not think it has anything to do with my Myers who don't show up until 1840. I do show a William Myers born about 1810 and he married a Susannah Sarver in either 1Aug1839 or 29July1838. I keep a file of the Myers in the area and I do show a John Myers age 19 in the 1850 Botetourt census. I Also a John F. Myers born about 1812 married Jane Huffman and he died 13Feb1876 in Craig County. A John Myers born about 1837 in Montgomery and married Nancy Jane Shaver in 1868. A John William Myers born 3 Dec1835 in Giles. A John Myers born about 1836 and married in 1858 to Nancy Dobbs. My line is John Myers who married Elizabeth "Betsy" Goodnight.
