Re above Joseph Carden, I am not related in any way, but a suggestion: if he was living (as an adult?) in Botetort Co in 1791, subtract 20 plus years for possible birth date, and he may have been born in Augusta Co VA as Botetort was taken from Augusta in 1769. Possible a will or other records for a father in Augusta for Joseph? Good luck. Aileen in WA
