From marriage reports and census records I've got my line back to Joseph and Elizabeth (I'm not sure about her last name it could possibly be Plymale??). Their birthplaces are listed as Va. on the census report for Pike Co., Ky. for 1850. Best guess for year of birth would be 1813 for Joseph and Elizabeth's would be 1818. Their oldest daughter Nancy was born in Va., all their other children's place of birth are listed as Ky. Nancy was born abt 1834. They would possibly been married in 1834 or 1833. If Joseph in the son of Stephen Rowe as I surmise, then they would have been aruond the New River area of (W) Va., when they got married. The information I have goes back to James Rowe born 1753 in Culpepper Co., Va. I believe I go back to James, but perhaps not the branch I think. The Rowe's had a bad habit of naming the children the same name. Each brother may have a James, Joseph, Thomas, or John born only m! onths apart from each other. I would greatly appreciate any help.
