I also would like to know about the data base. We lived in Salem VA nearly 30 years ago, and I used to go to the Roanoke Library to do research. They had a marvelous library then, but I was still working in Tennessee. Now I know I was pretty close to home for my family, and probably missed a lot of good data because I hadn't gotten back that far. I'd love to be able to use their database. Sure hope it can be accessed online.
