1745 - JACOB PEFLEY (son of 943) married in Botetourt Co.; Va. Aug. 27th, 1827 MARY MYERS, (dau. of PETER MYERS). Jacob moved to Ohio in 1832 (probably with his brother Solomon). He died at the age of 80, his wife at the age of 30. Jacob never remarried. His children lived with relatives until they were grown. Issue: 1st 3 born in Botetourt Co., Virginia. 1 - Lucinda Catherine Pefley, b. 8 - 16 - 1628, d. 1994, Toledo 2 - Peter Jackson Pefley, b. 6 - 6 - 1830, d. 2 - 25 - 1906 3 - Samuel Harlan Pefley, died in Calif. 4 - Sarah Frances Pefley, died in infancy 5 - Serene Margaret Pefley, died in infancy 6 - Elizabeth Jane Pefley, died young. -- Jeffery G.
