Co., Ind., Sept. 13th, 1903. (dau. of GEORGE Mangus and Mary Peffley) - see No.520. David is buried in the Ben. Brubaker Cemetery, Hanging Rock, Va.; Elizabeth at Bethel Cemetery, Ladoga, Ind. They separated in 1867 and Elizabeth went to Indiana locating at Whitesville, where she made a living for the children by tailoring. Issue: All born at Fincastle, Va. 1 - MARY MELLISSA RETTINGER, b. 7-1-1852, d. 10-2-1932, Ladoga, Ind. 2 - GEORGE CALVIN RETTINGER, died young. 3 - DAVID PIERCE RETTINGER. 4 - JEANETTA FLORENCE RETTINGER, b. 1-26-1858. 5 - KETURAH DOVE RETTINGER.
