Hi- I'm new to the list, and I'm looking for ARMSTRONG, originally from BOTETOURT Co., Va, moved to MERCER Co., KY. Rebecca ARMSTRONG (b. Botetourt Co) m. Abraham SHARP 3-22-1879 in Bedford Co., VA. Rebecca's father was William ARMSTRONG, m. Catherine? Rebecca & Abraham had 7 children: Catherine, Mary, William, Priscillla, John, Adam, Elizabeth,Jacob & Abraham, Jr. Rebecca, Catherine, Mary & William were kidnapped by Indians. Rebecca & Catherine were ransomed, William & Mary recaptured. Mary escaped to return to Indians. Interested in lineage of William & Catherine, and siblings of Rebecca.
