Can anyone help me with this line; Thomas Lauderdale also spelled Leatherdale/Louderdale/Liddlerdale was born in Botetourt County, VA. abt. 1753 he was married about 1770 in Botetourt, but I can't find out who is wife was or if they had any children besides my James Lauderdale, born abt. 1773. Also in the Winter of 1783-1784, he migrated to Greene County, TN. Thomas lived on Sinking Springs, near Sinking Springs about five miles due west of Greenville on the way to Warrensburg, but I can't find these land records? Thomas died in Botetourt or Greene Co., does anyone have any information on this line? I understand that these records may be in NC Land Grants Books?
