Joseph Samuel Adams, born 1762 (per Bible, but where?), married 1792, Botetourt Co., VA, Elizabeth Seagraves, daughter of Samuel & Mary Seagraves of that county. Both families migrated circa 1704 to Warren Co., KY, where the Seagraves remained. The Adamses may have remained there too, but the Bible says that most of them died in the short period, May-June 1810 in "Missouri Territory," which might have been a euphemism like "Out West."
