Good morning all - My research has led me to conclude that there were two Lee families in Botetourt Co in the late 1700's. One family consisted of Henry Lee, Stephen Lee, Thomas Lee, Andrew Lee, and possibly others. The second family arrived in 1793 with Zachariah Lee as its partiarch. His children were Jonathan, Elizabeth, Zachariah Jr, William, and "Polly." By 1810 the first family had disappeared from the official records.
