I have the book titled BOTETOURT COUNTY HISTORY BEFORE 1900 THROUGH COUNTY CEMETERY RECORDS. It appears to be pretty complete, but I can't find any of my CRAWFORD families listed except for those listed in the MCCOY-EVANS-CRAWFORD cemetery 4 mi. W of Eagle Rock off Rt. 615 on C. Deisher Farm. I'm looking for burial site for (all died in Bote. Co.): WILLIAM CRAWFORD d. 1835 & his wife MARGARET KILPATRICK CRAWFORD death date unknown; SAMUEL F. CRAWFORD d. 1867; JAMES CRAWFORD d. abt 1875; SARAH CRAWFORD b. abt 1794 d.?; ANDREW K. CRAWFORD d. 1866 wife SUSANNA SHAFER. It is possible that one SAMUEL F. HAMBRICK (d. 1892) is buried with these Crawfords. It could be that not all cemeteries were covered in the book mentioned above. If not, just where would the other cemeteries be?
