I would like to share information with descendents of any of the following: Joshua & Hester Acton Phipps were born in Chester Co, PA circa 1746. They moved to Botetourt Co in the 1760's (His father Joseph Phipps III and his family came also. Joseph died in Dec. 1791). Joshua and Hester went to Hawkins Co, TN circa 1795 and later to Green Co, KY. Children: Elizabeth b. abt 1765 m. James Mills March 24, 1784 (in Botetourt Co) Joshua b. 1766 m. Elizabeth Rice abt 1789 Deborah b. 1767 m. John A. Bingham in 1789 William b. 1768 m. Sarah Erwin (Wm left BC in 1786 for Hawkins Co, TN) (my line) Hetty b. abt 1769 m. James Mitchell John Boone b. abt 1770 m. Mary Sanders Willanna b. abt 1772 m. John Crow March 31, 1787 At least 1 of Joshua's sisters also married in Botetourt. Ester Phipps m.
