I am researching my ancestors who lived in Botetourt County from abt. 1760-1779. The names were Philip and Mary Cooper. Philip served in Dunmore's War out of Botetourt. His wife marry moved to Amherst County after his death (abt. 1779). They may also have lived in Augusta County. Mary Cooper remarried William Powell after the death of Philip.
