Looking for information on Andrew Allen. At this point, all I know is that Andrew ALLEN married Lavina Roberts in March 1823 in Franklin County, VA and William Allen posted the bond for him. I don't know if William ALLEN was father, brother or even cousin. I don't even know if Andrew and Lavina actually lived in Franklin County so I'm also checking other nearby counties. Andrew and Lavina eventually settled in Illinois where they had a son in 1841 named Joseph Sidney Allen. Do these names ring a bell with anyone? Does anyone have a connection with Andrew ALLEN or Lavina ROBERTS? Does anyone have any ideas on where I can check for more information? Thanks in advance for any help. Mary Allen
