I am researching the Wiers, Wires, Wire, Wier family of VA. I have the pension record of James Wiers. It was issued in 1820 when he was 82 years old. His children are grow and his wife is about 67. He served in Capt Adam Wallace`s company and was captured by Tarlton. Does any one have any information about him, his descendendts or ancestors?
