USGS lists Tinker (aka Tinker's) Creek as a stream in both Roanoke and Botetourt Co.s, running from Roanoke City through Daleville. They give Buffalo Creek as a varient name for Tinker Creek. They also show Buffalo Creek in Botetourt Co. running through Daleville and Villamont. They do not list a varient name. I would suppose that Buffalo Creek runs into Tinker Creek around Daleville, and before that point, they are two different streams.
