    3. I've been following the thread about McAd Rd => McAdam Rd => 'macadam road'. While wandering over my Street Atlas of Botetourt Co., I came across a feature listed in NW Botetourt County near the Craig Co border called Lee Gap. Can anyone provide any more information about this mountain gap? How did it get its name? Is there a history about it? I've been trying to understand how my Craig Co Lee family and my Catawba Valley Lee family migrated where they did and maybe even when. Because I had always gone between the two valleys using 311, I figured that they must have entered the Craig Valley via Macafee's Gap on the other end of North Mtn. Now I'm not sure. If anyone can provide a clue, thanks! Cletus Lee
