Would any one have any information on the Montgomery's in Botetourt Co in mid to late 1700's? My ancestor was James Montgomery b 1774, Botetourt Co, VA and later settled in Rhea Co, TN c 1800 and died c 1844 in Rhea Co. He married Elizabeth Lowery.I do not know if they were married in VA or TN. I sure would like to find his parents. Any suggestions would be appreciated. J. B. griff1221@aol.com
