I have extensive records of my ancestor, Peter Reilly's life in Huntingdon Co, PA. However, he died in Botetourt on July 14, 1812. I have no indication that he served in the War of 1812, but that thought certainly comes to me. He served in the Rev War and served afterwards in the militia for many years. - Was there military action in Botetourt during the War of 1812? - Does a list of casualties and/or military personnel exist for that War? - Are there suggested avenues that I might pursue to find out about Peter in Botetourt? TIA Barry Reilly
