I've always referred to John as "John, Jr" but found a record of John Sr having been in the Amherst Co. Militia (diary of William Cabell - notation about delivering drest pork to John Biggs as due the wife and children of John Biggs, Jr.) This would actually make my John Biggs, Sr. b. 1751 John Biggs, Jr. now; and John Biggs, Jr. living in Botetourt Co John Biggs, III now. Anyway, John Biggs, III DID have a son Allen. This was passed down in our family history. Allen lived near Buckhannon during the Civil War and gave the early history to my ancestor, Augustus Chapman Biggs. Hi Steve, Lisa and Donna, If you are discussing Clarence Gilbert Booze b. Oct 1876 Botetourt Co., VA who married Sallie Jones, could you please include me in your correspondence? I need to add more information on this family to my database. Clarence Gilbert Booze was my 3C2R. I need marriage date and their children and dates if you have that. I have Clarence Booze backward to the early 1700's. I have nothing on Sallie Jones. I am always happy to share.
